Turning Point Youth Ministries

At Garden Park Church we have 3 youth groups based on age range. All three meet weekly on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. the same time as our Wednesday night Bible study. The youngest group is 2nd grade and under, and is taught by Sandy Swanson. Susan and Brian Hall lead the 3rd through 8th grade group called FYSH (Faithful Youth Serving Him). And Rick McClain, our youth leader, leads the 9th through post-high group.

Once a quarter, our 2 older groups meet with sister churches in the Grand Rapids area for a retreat. Also, twice a year, people from our High School group attend FUEL (International Summer Retreat) and REFUEL (National Winter retreat).

Frequently, our youth group members participate in Michigan State Conference Bible Quiz Team and other events thoughout the year.
